I love reading huge wall of text about various settings and shit but I personally felt that FSN didn't explore it that well.
Or rather it explored it on a pretty small scale, namely the grail war and the rules/whatever around it.
HF actually got out of these bound a bit which is one of the reason I liked this route the most (it's also better for a lot more reason including the fact that the writing is a lot more focused and nice to read in it, it kind of feel like Nasu only really cared for that route honestly).

I like my chuuni when they have a really huge scale, like a three-way fight between some near-omnipotent being for the seat of God and shit so don't mind me.
