my diagnosis is that he thinks he has lost his ability to make anything other than pop.
I mean shit most of his capsule work is more miss than hit so he's never been a god in that field.

shibuya-kei and techno pop has always been what he's good at.

haikara girl is his best capsule album, GAME is his best perfume album, STEP his best meg album and shit even natusmelo was really really fucking good.

natsumelo was proof he has some ablity to make good songs but it doesn't mean he's a good producer, it just proves that he should have never tried to mix it up.
