it's a good watch for the atmosphere and music, but the plot and dialogue scenes haven't aged well with Touko's long exposition scenes are boring. I still love a lot of the shots and most of the scenes.

I mean it's pretty easy to get its appeal. It has a great atmosphere and music and great shots in the movie. The story and characters may not be for everyone, but Shiki is a cool protag that carries the story for me due to how cool she looks and sounds. There are some movies you watch just for the atmosphere and cinematography and KnK does that well enough for me to like.

Why does Ufotable's Kara no Kyoukai feel so artistic while Fate/ feels soulless?

Nasu can be good when he doesn't give a fuck about pandering to the fanbase and writes whatever he wants (ex. Kara no Kyoukai). He goes full retard when doing waifupandering for easy bucks (ex. the entirety of the Fate franchise).
