Do you think AV ruined japan?
It used to be a nation of morality and traditions. Then suddenly it had an identity crisis of the still active upholding of morals clashing with waves of western whorish cultural imports. I mean, moral corruption as a genre is nothing short of bread and butter inside the adult entertainment landscape and even the mainstream literary scene lmao. It's so weird to me because if my country were to experience such drastic cultural upheaval it would break itself apart, but somehow japan never did
