Dear /jp/,

I don't really know anything about Tohou shit. I know that they are games, or something, and there are weird comics about it too like with fat heads and stuff, buit I wanna try some stuff out for myself to see if I like it. Now, I am an avid reader of magna and like to watch anime too, so I should theoretically like it and reading them should be no problem since I have learned all of the hiragana and katakana characters, unless they are translated, then that's fine too.

How do I go about become a tohou fan? What game shall I play and where do I find it? What's the deal with all the girls? is there backstory I need to know or something? I will also read the visual novels if I have to!

Help me become a Tohou fan. /jp/ because I'm sick of seeing 5 different threads about it and not knowing what the hell is going on!
