Lambda's changes didn't really bother me at all. The pupils thing may hint at her otherworldly nature, but she doesn't really need that when she's wearing the most kitsch witch dress in the series. And while having no pupils in the PS3 style doesn't look bad per se, it feels a bit out of place and somewhat clashes with Bern's dead eyes. the platinum blonde hair I can see being an issue. Though to be fair her design is meant to parallel not just Takano but Satoko as well, as evidenced by her line in Episode 8 about the cake fractions riddle. And of the two, Satoko's design is much more well known especially when compared to young Takano, and one could even argue that it circumvents some potential spoilers for any players who haven't yet read Higurashi (shit on them all you like. They still exist and deserve to enjoy the series how they choose) by not making it obvious who the main antagonist she's referencing is.

As for Jestress, I honestly think you're stretching way too hard. Even looking at the original art she looks way more like a 2nd Takano expy than a Lambda one. The only thing that could be considered a connection is the pink dress, which again is also part of Takano's design.
