It's really easy to sound manly once you're familiar with the language. Just add ぞ to everything, always shift あい・ああ to ええ (for example やりてえ), don't ever use keigo (which is ONLY for bitch pussies), and you should be good. Sprinkle in some ぜs and that's about it, you sound like a fucking baller dude with the manliest language there is in Japanese. It's not something to worry about. By the way, by the time you'll be speaking natural Japanese well enough to worry about minor quirks in your speech instead of conveying ideas at all, you'll have read several hundred manga/novels/etc, so don't worry too much about the influence from just one or two.
