News:
-In the final maintenance of the year on Dec 27, a Kai Ni will implemented for Naganami who now rests near Leyte Island.
-The November ranking rewards have been distributed. The new item is the 12.7cm Type D destroyer main gun. When used on Type A DDs and Type C (Shimakaze) bonus combat damage can be gained. +1FP bonus for Kagerou-class and +2FP bonus for Yuugumo-class and Shimakaze.
-A "Xmas Select Gift Box" has been distributed to all admirals. This gift will disappear on Jan 1 so be sure to open it before then.
-Tama Kai Ni has been implemented. She is able to use seaplane fighters and carry daihatsu/tank. Level 70 and blueprint requirement.
-Part 2 of Decisive Battle, Operation Shou-Gou! Interception in the Battle of Leyte Gulf will take place in the Winter event, with Palawan, Sibuyan, and Engaño being the setting. The Fleets commanded by Kurita, Suzuki, Ozawa, as well as Part 1's Nishimura and Shima Fleets will all feature in the event. This will be the final event of KanColle's Phase 1.
-The Strait Medal for clearing Surigao Strait has been handed out to admirals. It can be viewed in the admiral panel and will show up on top of certain desks in the admiral's office.
-There has been an increase in accuracy to medium guns below 15.5cm, including a small increase for 15.2cm for the Agano-class. Commandant Teste and Kamoi Kai Bo can now equip medium guns, but suffer accuracy penalty from guns bigger than 14cm.
-The Shiden M11 navy interceptor is now available to all from a quarterly quest that can be unlocked by doing the new equipment scrapping dailies. Through Akashi's arsenal, the M11 can be converted into the Shiden M21 Shiden Kai.
-The Hayabusa Model II and IIIA can now be improved through Akashi's arsenal. The Model II can be converted into the IIIA through the arsenal.
-5 new quests have been added. UI changes have been implemented to the equipment scrapping panel.
-LBAS ASW has been improved and seaplanes with 7 ASW can now perform ASW attacks in LBAS.
-There are new Xmas mode CGs for Arare, I-8, Kamoi, Shoukaku, Sagiri, Kinugasa, Libeccio, Sado, and Nagatsuki. There's also a new Shuraba mode CG for Akigumo. There's also new Christmas voice lines.
-New furniture has been added including a free 1YB, Third Section scroll. A new BGM "Prayer" and a Suzutsuki ver. of Tsukiyomi have been added to the jukebox.
-Musashi's construction rate will be increased for admirals who do not have her sometime before the Winter event.
-A british DD will be implemented in the Winter event.
-There are plans for expanding with ASW equipment from the land of black tea like ASDIC and hedgehogs.
-The 5th year of KanColle will see something "interesting" regarding foreign ships.
-New Akizuki and Matsu-class destroyers are under plans to be added.
-KanColle will migrate to HTML5 and Friend Fleets will be implemented at 2018 Spring.
