Shkannon is a pretty shitty answer, but it could have been worse.
I mean, i'm pretty sure most of the people thought Shannon=Kanon after starting ep 1, but discharged it because it was too retarded.

Thinking about it, R07 said the answer could be found with only ep 1-2, and Shkannon was effectively the only viable answer.

Still, i think there is still something to find about the "Why", it's obvious for Will words in the Tea Party that there are other reasons.
