People meme about parasocial relationships but there's going to be a point where you'll try to interact with your oshi and you get drowned out by thousands of other people. This applies to roommates as well.

If you unironically want to talk with some of these creators, you should probably become a regular on some indie's stream (preferably less than 30 viewers at any given time). Even then, there's the language barrier which is a bitch to overcome. I've gone down the hole. The realization that all you're gonna be to some of these girls is just another fan who is part of the fanbase they love isn't pretty.

Never expect to engage with your Hololive oshi unless you're a lyger-tier menhera. And for Indies, you might be able to talk to them if you're good enough at Japanese, but unless you put in big effort to keep up something that resembles a friendship, then it's likely to stay distant.
