We should at least count ourselves lucky that Takeuchi didn't "change what was unique about them" like he did with Arc and Ciel. They're still essentially the same design as before which is nice.

I have a high tolerance for bad art since I can can at least appreciate the effort put into it but I can't stand is lazy art that isn't as good as the Melty illustrations from over a decade ago.

Literally just have Koyama take over all art you narcissistic hack.

Type Moon peaked at Fate/Zero and Melty Blood. Even Kohaku and Hisui have more distinctive faces than most of his newer characters, and they're literally fucking twins.

I'll preface this with saying I know very little of art. I think certain aspects, like his proportions and shading for example, are pretty bad. But, it's got a certain charm to it and I find the flaws endearing. The new stuff hes drawn post like 2010 has technically improved in a lot of regards but I can't say I really like it- but I also can't really pinpoint why exactly other than the fact that it's different. Maybe it's the sameface.
