They are usually always a fox woman.

Ryuu step mom.
Live in a water shrine, have several Shirohebi 'aunts' that specialize in healing and fortune telling, if not matchmaking.
It is sure to be a warm family orientated open minded environment where you learn to be comfortable around women , and tons of skinship.(this does not factor any step or actual sisters)

Fox goddess step mom
Live in a shrine , have sveral kitsune and or shirohebi 'aunts' as well, have a highly social childhood , lots of skinship, learn early on sex is fun, get introduced to lots of girls.

Hathor step mom.
Not sure what the shrine staff would be, but I am sure they would all be into health.
you would have a very healthy childhood, and lots of skinship in the form of breast feedings .

I am not seeing any downsides to having a step mom that is a divine , local, or lesser goddess.
