They're just too irrelevant, and even design-wise they're overshadowed by the Stakes. I was actually surprised the Mei collab had Chiester cosplay rather than stakes, but I guess R07 really wanted his number joke (Nao -> "Na" "o" -> Chiester 70).

Nao. She has by far the best backstory out of the new characters and her character has been shown to be able to work and interact with basically anyone else. Her Rena obsessions is overused sometimes, but she has been shown to work fairly well even away from Rena.

Miyuki lost points with me because her 93 plot has been fairly boring.

Kazuho is a non starter. A protagonist who isn't allowed to have much of a character because it's supposed to be a mystery...? Then just don't make her a protagonist until you're ready to reveal whatever is going on with her (see Rika). It's just a dumb idea and Mei's biggest flaw.

Chiester 70 is almost flat too. Too bad they couldn't come up with a proper number nickname for Chiester Rika.
