I hate faceless male doujins so, so much. I don't even care if it's a male, that's fine, or even if he doesn't have any personality to speak of. Just give him eyes. Give him a real nose. Don't make him just a mannequin with a penis. It's boring and dull and irritating. For example, Nounai Kanojo and Itou Life both draw heterosexual sex with relatively generic male protagonists, but they have faces and well-defined features and the glimmerings of personality, which I find infinitely preferable to the shameless self-insertion fantasies of the faceless male. It creates a greater sense of empathy and grounds the doujin further, which I find far more arousing than mindless fucking.
