Gold is without a doubt the biggest progress-stopper in FKG, especially now that manyus are so much easier to get thanks to the key revamps. The problem gets better once you've more established, but never really goes away. You're probably best off scrounging whatever you can from the old event reprints (they tend to have very high gold rewards relative to their stamina cost) and waiting patiently for another 1.5x/2x gold event to start within, oh, 12 days or so.

As far as strengthening your party on a budget goes, you'll want to sink manyus into your lowest-leveled units and make sure that all of your golds are at least evolved. Blooming is extremely costly and tends to be a far smaller power boost than evolution, so raising your units until they're about level 40-50 in their first evolved stage should suffice. Of course, that'll take a while, so for the moment just make sure that outside of party 1, parties 2-4 have a few strong girls that can carry those teams to victory. I'd like to say that you could probably move Wheat out of team 1 to help equalize things a bit, but without knowing what the rest of your parties are, it's hard to say. Though your current setup looks like it'd easily be sufficient to tackle the third tier of character quests, which grant you the personal equipment and have (from what I recall) an incredibly highballed difficulty estimate. Don't even bother to try the fourth for now, though - you'd probably need closer to 300-400k overall power for those.

Apart from a few exceptions (mostly the first 5 and maybe Geranium/Dipladenia), event girls are all going to be outclassed eventually so it's not too important which you go for as long as you keep getting flower gems and rolling the gacha. Though, you'll absolutely want to make whoever the current reprint girl is a priority. If you're just looking for lolis and are willing to compromise on pink hair though, then Cineraria, Amur Adonis, Holly, Hypericum, Lavender, and the current reprint girl Ipheion are all pretty petite (though Holly and especially Ipheion have quite the bust). Unfortunately you joined after a massive wave of pink-haired reprint girls passed through, and the next re-reprint girl you'd probably be interested in is Fuchsia, who's still a few months away.

This is a pic I made of my own progress a while back, within about a month of when I started playing. If your general party setup looks anything like this/is starting to look like it then you're probably in good shape. Just make sure to keep phasing out your 2-4* girls, chipping away at any non-replenishable sources of flower gems, and fully exploit the free stamina/gathering/raid boss refills from leveling up. Earlygame FKG can be very slow.
