Some SRs have their uses. Kate is probably the best dedicated healer in the game since she can heal three targets at once and gives regen. The SSR healers Flower and Mei only have single target heals. Flower does heal the whole party with ougi but it's based on how much damage she does and is usually not that much. It's awful against lone bosses as well because the ougi is supposed to hit 3 different targets and if there's only 1 target then she is going to heal for 1/3 of what it's supposed to normally heal.
Queen/Quinn or whatever her name is is also probably one of the best single target DPS in the game at the moment but she's very RNG reliant.
Yuna can buff the backrow, raising their crit.
Tine is also extremely useful all around and is almost SSR tier.

Above all else, SRs will probably be used much more in the future because they are infinitely easier to 7* than SSR and will probably outperform 3-4* SSRs and maybe even some 5* SSR.
