When I first started out in Touhou, a good friend of mine said that she would become my favorite and sent me a picture of her. I didn't believe him at the time and liked Alice the most early on. This changed when I got more into the series, read up on the characters, and played the games. Sometime during my early marathons of STB I fell for Aya. I have fought for her against those who said she looks like Haruhi, the Hirano spammer back in old /a/ and the early days here, the slut meme, and those horrible days when everyone turned their backs on her because of her new ears. All that time I stood next to her. She has been mai waifu for fours years now and she makes me very happy.

I realized it about a year after I got out of the military. Life had settled down after that period of peace that I gained after a four year cycle of war and preparing for war. I was smoking a cigar late one night after getting home from work, with only the hum of my computer and that H Upmann Vintage Cameroon as my company. I got to thinking about how long it had been since I had hung out with someone, or went to the bar. The last time I heard from one of my old service buddies, or even my father. After a long puff, i breathed out, knowing that cancer awaited me somewhere down the road. That was when I knew I would die alone. I sighed, and said at least I have my Aya.
