I did it, jaypee! I've finally 1cc'd normal with all shot types! (except for the Phantasmagoria games, but I don't really like them as much).
It is not simply about checking boxes. As >>17916615 pointed out, different shot types give different enough experiences for it to be fun most of the time. For example, the last 1cc I got was LoLK Legacy Marisa, which was entirely different from Reimu (who has a much easier time with stages, thanks to homing), Sanae (who can get easy extra lives thanks to her bomb) and Reisen (who breaks the game). Getting different endings is also really nice.

I'll finish the 3 remaining extras, then it's finally time to get started on hard.
