As much as I want to say my favourite 2hu, it'd probably have to be Kasen. If you suckered up to her and put your pride as a man behind you and begged her to teach you how to survive Gensokyo, I'm sure she'd cave in and do it.

I will roll for all Kasens. Kasen, Kasen's arm, True Kasen, Retro Kasen, Player 2 Kasen, Cyber Kasen, Castlevania Kasen, Kasen Blanco...

It's nice that Kasen gets more stuff but I wish she actually better in combat. She is probably the most mediocre character in the game. None of her stats are good, her switch effect is also on better characters, she can raise her crit but not as good as others and every single attack she has is single target. Her skills also feel really random. She has a completely pointless defense buff even though she is not a defensive character at all.

If you game over 12 times in the tree you get Kasen. She might help if you really run into trouble early on since she has high stats in everything and strong moves.

Once you have more characters to chose from it gets easier, especially with a good debuffer like Hina.
