What do I do against satsuki as an F-aoko player? This is my first animu game, I’ve only been playing a few weeks.

>do you need to be able to write them in near future
Not really, but I've seen how similar some kanji are, and my visual memory is not worth shit. Drawing them helps me out. But I also can't write them down on a whim even if I know them, which is quite infuriating. I guess it comes with practice, I should be patient. Maybe I should also consider mnemonics, and not just grind Anki for hours.

I'm focusing on reading and typing, and maybe also speaking. I don't think I need writing, assuming that tests like JLPT are conducted digitally these days, and I'm not even willing to go that far. I just do it because it's good for memorization, and also I don't want to be completely clueless about handwriting.
