This works nicely, a CAV mule isn't very effective compared to a BB who still has an AP shell even without artillery spotting, but Kaga really needs the Iwamoto or else you have to take more seaplane fighters. The land bases still shave off enough air power even without Iwamoto, its boost is more suited for the fleet.

Yeah, this isn't going to work, Kaga alone can't take 3 air parity in a row and still expect to get AS at the boss without severely gimping the land bases. Either use seaplane fighters and hope for the best or just go with 2 CVL.. I was confident with this loadout and still got Air Parity once at last dance, it's just a matter of Tsu not ruining everything.
