>"KnK is great adaptation" says everyone.
>First movie's first scene literally skips over why Shiki lives alone and doesn't bother mentioning her memory loss
>"FSN's UBW adaptation is garbage of the highest order" says everyone
>Anime cut literally one semi-important monologue while the rest was autistic chunni shit

Based KnK.
Do people genuinely think KnK's movies were amazing adaptations?
Excluding Oblivion Record, obviously. Since everyone shits on that one.
Like, I didn't even read KnK, because by god I hate kanji. But knowing Tsukihime and FSN, I can just tell how much shit was obviously cut from the movies.
Apparently Touko explains Magecraft at some point. That shit wasn't in the movies.
People keep telling me that Ryougi cut "distance" in her fight with Araya. Somehow. Can't really dispute it.
Shiki's brother is barely existent in the movies, but I imagine he got some sort of description in the novels.

Why is FSN the only one that gets shit for its adaptations? KnK and Zero weren't that great either.
Zero in particular seems to have been directed by someone who didn't understand Zero that much.

What do the anons of /tmg/ think about Shiki?
Some people swear up and down that she's the best female character Nasu ever written. Others call her a mary sue because of the ridiculous abilities she gets through a relatively mundane method used by her family.
