I don't normally like to be negative, but is anyone else just really not feeling Iwahime ?

It's got it's fair share of Ryukishiisms but feels vastly inferior in every aspect to WTC, with the characters and mc especially being pure meh and the horror just not working for me at all, no sense of paranoia or confusion and the body horror ain't even gruesome. Some of the recycled stuff like Chie-senseis gag feel really hollow, it almost feels like a fan trying to emulate Ryukishis style. It does not have to be ambitious like WTC, but Iwahime just feels weak.
