Also apparently I was supposed to see some kind of text that shows what happened to Keiichi in the hospital in chapter 2? But I got this instead. I found it on some forum post from 2020 that there's a document that states Rena went missing and Keiichi died of heart failure, confirming it was just a dying illusion of his in the hospital.

Tragic, that's the word. Absolutely. Mion was a victim of the worst circumstances and those circumstances made her a monster, or a demon in her words. There's one point where she wonders how she could be capable of what she's done, and immediately I thought of how abused victims often act out their abuse on others - Mion knows what her family is capable of, what she's grown up in, so of course she would have a deep, internalized capability of murder. It's brought forth when she can't get over the loss of her first love. What a story, fucking hell.
