Fact is that Youkai want only one thing out of humans, their cum. The true job of the mikos is to prevent them from acquiring it, as is the truce. It is why every youkai faction worth their salt attempts to control the village with the ultimate goal of being able to walk the streets openly. It is all for the sake of acquiring their virile seed, same as why the animal realm is so desperate to claim human souls and why they attempted to claim the surface.
Facts are facts, lewdsokyo is the only canon and all of them crave the milk of human kindness.

Cirno is an exception to the fairies by default and it could make sense for her to not have anything particularly. Most fairies embody nature and thus impurity while cirno doesn't really seem to embody that kind of thing at all. That's before we get into the strangeness of her hidden aspect.

I wouldn't say that the cirno story should be non-canonized as it adds some things nicely even if it does go off on strange tangents at times. Like a fully feral Reimu, Waggy getting her arm ripped off, Ran slaughtering fairies, cirno becoming a god, Suwako's harem, and other silly things.
It does conflict with other vague parts of the story already like the fairies sneaking in, some of the above, and even koishi attending the Buddhist orgy in the first place.
You are also right, its a minor point and bares little on the current plot since no one wrote the great faries war section but I wouldn't let that stop anyone since its a one off line and rather minor
