You have few recourses one of which is to pray to Miku that Joypolis switches their special event to a Vocaloid theme by the time you go. Yes, Joypolis sometimes does Vocaloid collabs because Project Diva is a SEGA game. But it's not guaranteed to be the case when you go in October.

Alternatively, pray that as it get's closer to your trip. That a Vocaloid M@ster event gets announced that will occur while you're in Japan. Vocaloid M@ster happens 4 times a year but when and where (vaguely somewhere in Tokyo) they happen can be quite erratic. 51 is happening online only (Nico Nico Choukaigi) on the 29th and 30th of this month. 50 happened this year back in February 19th. 49 happened last year November 12th. You get the idea.

Alternatively go visit Miku in Toyosato (pic related). Why yes, the Toyosato locals are taking the piss out of the otaku tourists that visit their town.
