So /jp/ I've been wondering. Why is it that so many people like myself have such a strong interest in Japanese culture and arts? Is it because of the cultural difference that's so appealing? I'm interested in not only anime and games but their value of respect and their language and writing system. Has their ever been a study on why Japan is so appealing to Western countries? Every time I see guides on Kyoto or Tokyo I get this strong urge to want to go and experience what it's like to be there. Your thoughts and opinions /jp/?
