Yes, many resets until you get a run where you get to Nue with enough resources
I mean, it's also hard because you have to go full retard to catch the ufos. It's not that hard once you're at max power or if you're not catching them, but there are parts where you either have a bomb or you lose a life if you're not in "The Zone".
Also Kogasa's spells seem kind of easy but are preety tight. One slip up and she gets you.
