It's intentionally left vague in order to introduce an element of uncertainty into the entire rest of Tsukihime.
How many of Shiki's chimp-outs were actually Nanaya/Roa taking charge of him, and how much was just his own unstable mental condition while hopped up on Kohaku drugs?
That's just part of why the coffee talk with SHIKI is my favorite scene in the game.

Hmm, Ciel is the only thing I can think of that she could be referring to there.
But don't misinterpret. She didn't go out of her way to meet Shiki or to NOT meet him. It's just that looking back, she predicts some trouble with Ciel might've ocurred if they ran into each other.
Arcueid in her route also says she would rather not come face to face with Miss Blue.

Yeah, too bad anon. It's not a whole "Shiki route" you're missing, but if you wanna unlock the final epilogue of the game, you do have to get all the major endings, including Ciel's.
If you really, really just hate Ciel, I recomend skipping through her route so you just unlock the epilogue. It's definitely worth seeing and the proper ending of Tsukihime.

It's sad that you haven't even touched Kara no Kyoukai, so you can't draw more comparisons between modern TM and when Nasu actually bothered to write protagonists like Ryougi Shiki. Then again, as a GOfag, it's obvious that's not the sort of thing you're primarily seeking from Type-Moon.
