KC's biggest intention in making his setting was to provide a world where you can easily have a happy ending with a monster girl and not worry about much else. Yes this means it is quite shallow in many ways and heavily pandering, but it has many good aspects as well. I for one like the lack of depressing mindbreak (beyond the routine breaking of resistance via pleasure).

Variation is encouraged too, as you are usually given the option of either a adventure-filled life or normal life (with sex being the equivalent of a meal) or a secluded life of near-constant sex depending on what you want in your story.

And in reference to a common criticism, it isn't like KC makes it so bad things never happen in his world. There are references to monster girl orphanages (parents killed by the Order) for instance.

And while deaths in battles between humans and monsters for various reasons are notably rare (at least where human deaths are concerned) they do still occur.
