I understand this part was poorly written but there are some hints that could help you despite this.
B was always lowkey and didn't attract as much attention as C (getting banished), you should've been able to realize he's the culprit because he's the one who poisoned B.
Now you might ask, why B instead of A?

and [red]One culprit must at least remain alive![/red]
You could presume that the culprit must remain alive! And since B is the last one to die, due to an unexpected event, logically he's the most likely to be the second culprit.
I understand it's almost impossible, and I apologize for the grave mistake (fucking adrenaline), but it it still solvable.

I also forgot to clarify the blood on the neck's head, [red]that came from the poison. The poison triggers a heart attack which forces the blood to continually come out of the deceased's mouth, covering his neck and mouth as a result.[/red]
But anyways, what do you think about the overall mystery?
