Do you think pain was the only thing Bern felt when Battler punched her? It wasn't specified it was just one or two emotions. It was probably an eye opening experience for her in several ways to be touched by Battler.

What would Erika and Battler do alone in that scenario too? She'd no doubt bring it up to him to stay in the same room, of course. Battler probably wouldn't be any wiser to her intentions. Would Erika go a step further and impose they join eachother in the same bed too? She can't rule out any funny play if they were too far apart.

She'd probably say something like :
