After reading the finale, here are my thoughts on it:

You were definitely right in assuming that Voso coming back to get with Anon felt like a slap to the face.

While I did like Voso as a character & was even a bit sad that she didn't get with Anon in those earlier chapters, I can't say that I like her being abruptly shoved in at the end at all. Her story in my eyes already felt like it ended way back then, and she kind of felt like an annoying little sequel stain on the goal of him singlehandedly scoring a Ryu wife far more than "Ah sweet, two awesome girls that love Anon! This is even better!". I think that this would've been better if this ending felt like it was far more built up to & that Anon in the writing often had Anon looking back on Voso as it was described, or instead an alternate spinoff ending where Anon gets with Voso back at the school or whatever. While I understand the dissatisfaction of looking back & wanting to change the direction of your work, in my experience, it's often best to stay with the course that you already planned out rather than to turn the ship (heh) a different direction.

If you as the author of this work feel happy with this ending then that's fine, however I can't help but feel quite disappointed by this ending, even if you do intend to follow it up with cute little slice of life stuff.

But all that negativity aside, I thought the interactions between Voso, Airokiri, and Anon were a bit endearing(if a tad lengthy), and I really liked the Royoshi and zugaikuki fights & the stuff that built up to it. Overall, this was a pretty great story & I feel lucky to have come across it. Thank you for taking the time to write this lengthy 388k words long Monster Girl Encyclopedia fanfiction.
