They're not the exact same sizes. That's the thing, until we get an ability to put our own exact values in centimeters we're forced to use these vague "petite" or "child-sized" descriptors. You should grab a 2hu of a certain size and measure her in a changing room, you'll see that due to the RNG nature of that system you can have a pretty big difference between child-sized CP and a child-sized Luna. You can roll as many times as you want until you get a height you're more or less okay with. 125 cm compared to 115 cm, for example.

I was trying to research this a few months ago.
According to what I found she's (at least Remilia is) supposed to be 130cm. My headcanon is that she's 140cm. My autistic headcanon is that she's 136cm (avg of 49.5 inches and 4ft 9.5 inches—which happen to both over-shoot my headcanon and undershoot supposedly actual canon by roughly 5cm).
