-There is a maintenance scheduled for January 20 at 11:00 JST.
-A new map will be implemented in the future.
-Fletcher-class USS Heywood L. Edwards (DD-663) will be implemented sometime in 2023.
-The Xmax Select Gift Box will remain until mid January.
-There are 4 limited time New Year's quests available. The final quest has Nonaka as a choice.
-Urakaze D Kai is now able to equip medium armor bulges and tanks. Tanikaze D Kai is now able to equip medium armor bulges and Daihatsu. Several DDs have received minor stat buffs.
-It is now possible to improve the 12.7mm Single Machine Gun Mount and 35.6cm Triple Gun Mount Kai (Dazzle Camouflage) through Akashi's arsenal. It is now possible to upgrade the 35.6cm Twin Gun Mount (Dazzle Camouflage) and Proto 35.6cm Triple Gun Mount into 35.6cm Triple Gun Mount Kai (Dazzle Camouflage) through Akashi's arsenal.
-The November ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment is the Type 2 Depth Charge Kai-II.
-New and returning New Year seasonal CGs and voice lines have been implemented.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to critical DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures will remain until further notice. EN EO now bypasses the block.
