It's Rino Kawashima. She has done anime roles under the name Kei Mizusawa so it's not unheard of, but you more likely recognize her from one of her bazillion and a half other game roles.

She's like the Kevin Bacon of eroge.

It's my favorite of everything I've ever played, so clearly I'm biased. But you really should try it.

I have a 1080 screen, so playing fullscreen warps a lot of things to unwatchable proportions. Windowed is almost always better anyway to see the graphics at the resolution they were meant to be.

THIS GOD YES, can be appended to ANY WAB GAME pretty much, but special mention must be made of Shikkoku no Sharnoth. If I believed in waifus then I would claim M for mine.

Others include Fate/Stay Night, Hanachirasu, YMK (even though there's only two of them) and Katahane (especially Kurohane route).

Also I am quite partial to Rance, myself.

I am about to try Shikkoku no Sharnoth ~what a beautiful tomorrow~ since its by the same author.

What should I expect?

You will never be the little girl and live in Victorian England with your one-eyed kuudere husbando, either. ;___;

(totally related shut up)

Oh how I long for the day that Sharnoth is part of that list.

>Best art?
Most Liar-soft VNs. Shikkoku no Sharnoth was beauty personified.

>Best scenario?
Subarashiki Hibi. FFFFFFFFFF-

>Best ero?
I don't take much notice of ero, being honest.

>Best music?
Definitely Umineko. Godly composers.

>Made you cry the most?
I cried at a few stupid things in Umineko, so let's go with that.

>Depressed you the most?
Hmmm, not sure. Cross Channel made me feel pretty 'bleh' for all of like, ten minutes, and tears welled up perhaps once but it didn't depress me.

>Made you think the most?
Umineko, going by the amount of teatrice/shkanontrice bullshit I type out.

>Best humor?
I haven't really encountered a lot of humour in VNs, I don't think. I prefer dry sarcasm instead of slapstick OMG HIS FACE IS IN MY CROTCH EX DEEEE humour.

>Best brick/surprising revelations?
Sharin no Kuni. We all know what.

>Best action?
I don't care much for action. I like Umineko's magic fights though. FUCK YEAH ERIKA, DESTROY A CHILD'S DREAMS WITH MAGIC TEACUPS WHILE DEATH (FROM STUPEFACTION) PLAYS.

>The best protagonist?
Sharin no Kuni's Morita Kenichi. Then again, how awesome he was was based purely on the way she spoke. If SnK didn't have such a colourful translation, I doubt I'd like him as much.

>Best heroines?
Sharnoth's Mary, despite being a moralfag at times. Umineko's Saya, too. Her life was a sad existence.

>Best antagonist(s)?
Sharin no Kuni's Houzuki, most likely. Christ, everything he made DAT GRIN you knew you were in for some serious shit. And Beatrice, early on in Umineko.

>And best overall?
I'll say Umineko. Derp.

I'm actually playing Sharnoth right now.

The battles are kind of repetitive, but they're better than that ridiculous flowchart thing in Inganock. The voices also lapse out once you hit the third chapter. And, since it's set in ye olde England (1905), there's not a lot of moonrune colloquialisms, so ATLAS can make it somewhat readable. I'm only up to chapter six, but I much prefer it over Inganock, I have to say.
