Go to page 17, Japanese people aren't absolutely keen on impulse buys. Even if they found and interesting song, but they dodn't know the artist very well, 70% of them wouldn't even consider spending money on them (even the measly fee of a digital download), and nearly 40% of them would basically pirate the shit out of it some way or another.
Music for the sake of music is a miserable business but everyone knows it, right? After all, have you seen any street perfomer living a wealthy life?
