It doesn't hurt us persay. If anything it really does help. Let's Play's are this new generation's big thing, my friends little brother just constantly consumes them so I assume in Japan it must be the same situation.

Every time a Let's Play watcher stumbles across a Voiceroid Let's Play they're more to stumble into Vocaloid music, find Miku or another Vocaloid they like (Or the Voiceroid themself, Yukari for example) and start to consume that content.

Bam. New Vocaloid fan. If we get really lucky they make their own Let's Play's with Voiceroid and eventually stumble down the slope of Vocaloid production from there and we could have our next big P. Gotta sacrifice more young lives to Miku to keep her alive.

I'll have a thousand children die before I let Miku disappear.
