After fruitlessly asking your new upper neighbour to remove herself from the premises and receiving a tap from her antenna on your lips, you attempt to perform a handstand for reasons beyond your understanding.
Aside from receiving a small applause and having some money from passerby's dropped in front of you, the Mantis appears to be unmoved, clutching herself tightly to you. She now appears to be interrested in your neck and is giving it little nibbles and pecks.

Realizing this battle is lost, you decide to enact your second masterplan; going home and lying on your couch. Perhaps the tresspasser of your personal space is simply afraid of heights, as small as they might be, and is stick up there on your shoulders.

Moving yourself to the confines of your technically not own but rented home, you drop yourself on your second hand couch and slowly lie down. As your earlier thoughts on lightweight or superhuman strenght return, you realize that the answer unfortunately seems to sit with the former, as you are entirely sure that your couch would not survive the onslaught of two whole humans sitting on it. This however does leave the question whether your couch could survive the newly added weight for a longer duration.

Fortunately, you believe this question will not stay on your mind for long, seeing the Mantis has decided to move herself, but not remove herself from your couch. You now have a Mantis frontally hugging you, looking deeply into your eyes. You ponder if she wishes to complain or compliment you on your fine tastes in choosing the couch she is currently occupying. You realize a different issue however. Your current situation might actually have increased in severity, opposed to having a new upper neighbour.

This is your life now.
