It's not a high entry barrier though. You can cheese it the same way you can do everything else, so find a teacher, borrow a book on music and grind away in between meals. It just has a less effective spamming process.
I think it just has really bad balancing with the inexplicably high cost of blowing into the trumpet and the banquet stoning, and playing for just one girl could use a buff. That's all.
