but thats wrong, Sariels whole reason to be punished was because he dared mix with a human women teaching her magic and giving her forbidden knowledge as a result of their union. This is impossible if Sariel wasn't a male, and while you can make the leap in saying that its just how the angels appeared before others thats just not how it works.
Most angels that interacted with mankind were males with only one in the mainstream bible being female.
The sexless ones could be counted on one hand.
