Okayu DQ Stuff 1/2

>Lazy cat
Okayu slept 13 hours today. Not all at once, of course but split into 2 or 3 parts. She wasn't busy like she's been lately, so she really didn't do anything all day. Unfortuantely she had to push the stream back an hour because even though she thought she was being a good girl and drawing the hot water for her pre-stream bath in advance, she actually somehow failed and had to wait longer than usual.

>Mogu Mogu Reset!
Okayu gets a party wipe about 20 minutes in, and decides to reset to avoid losing her money. She redoes her usual intro phrase and says they're restarting the stream 20 minutes late. She jokes with chat about having to start the stream late due to hardware issues, and pretends that she hasn't seen any of the stuff she did in that timeframe. It continues to be a running joke throughout the stream

>7 torches, 1 fire, various tiles
Okayu is real excited in the room with the 7 torches surrounding the large flame. She realizes that each one represents one of the playable characters, while the fire represents the hero. What about Laurel(mercenary she took with Torneko before ending chapter 3)? Uh... he's probably one of the tiles on the floor nearby, Oojam too.

>Gambling problem
Okayu's excited to get back to the casino, but only has enough money for two tokens. She tries to bet on the fights anyway, and quickly loses both tokens individually.

>Extension
Okayu asks if she can extend the stream a bit, seeing as she's just leveling for a certain fight. Chat asks if she's not tired, and she says she's totally fine. She had to get up early yesterday and go to the studio for work/appointments. She actually was streaming from the studio during the Okakoro Molly Online collab. When she got home, she passed right out, and slept through most of the next day, so she's fine. She also jokes with chat about the extension being for the previous hardware issues.

>Become Okayu
There's really been many things that have brought her happiness lately. Okayu saw she had a discord message from Kanatan when she got home from the studio yesterday. It was all about Oshio-mama's Okayu infatuation; how she tries to emulate Okayu when she's feeling stressed, her "Okayuism" methodology, and how she made her nickname Nekomata Okayu in her discord server. Okayu's felt the same way; that she's been saved by thinking how her oshi would handle certain situations, so she's very happy that she could be that person for somebody else, even if she says she's nothing that special herself.

>Today's meal
A heart that can believe in others, seeing as that's what Hoffman's lacking. It looks kind of beaten up though. Could it be that the onigiryaa were betrayed by somebody recently? Can they not trust anyone anymore? How sad. You can always trust Okayu though.

>Crane goods
Seems like a lot of people have been getting the Okakoro goods from Molly Online. Okayu actually got to see some of them in person at the studio yesterday, and they were real cute. Look forward to them arriving.

>Mogu Mogu 3 million!
Okayu didn't even realize that her original song hit 3 million. Even though she doesn't try to concern herself with numbers normally, she's very happy that so many people have enjoyed her song. Chat says numbers give a sense of reality to things, and Okayu kind of sees what they mean. Still, even when she's streaming to thousands of people, Okayu always has the sensation that she's only playing with around 50. Maybe it's due to the people who don't comment, but she never feels like tens of thousands are watching her at any given time.

>Dragon Quest
Okayu has a faint memory of sadness as she listened to the file deletion jingle in the Super Famicom version of the game before she moved onto the PS2 version as a child. She thinks the DQ series in general is good at hitting her weak spots with the right sad scenes, even if she hasn't played all of thems. Games that aren't just fun, but can also have sad things like that in them really have a place in a lot of peoples' hearts.

>DQ V memory
Okayu asks if it's okay if she says some spoilers, then goes into a sad memory of the game. Though she says DQ VI is her favorite, she loves DQ V just as much and has probably played it the most out of any game in the series. When she was playing the PS2 version in the past, trying to get 100% by beating Estark in 15 turns(though she says 5) to get the final knicknack, she saw the scene again where you trade the gold bauble with the gold orb to your younger self. She remembered thinking he looked like the player when she was playing that part, and thought about how he tells you to treasure your father(because he's still alive at this time); it really made her emotional. She's not sure exactly how her face looked at that moment, but even now, looking back on that moment, she almost starts to cry, and has to wipe some tears away.
