Yet another great post, lifestyle poster! But, for this one part I want to expand a counteragument because you only addressed one outcome:

This can also have the opposite effect, both in the immediate short term and in the long term. In the short term, the boy will be filled by joy and the exploration of new media will be an adventure. Gradually the novelty wears off, this is true. However, when the situation becomes normalised and he no longer views the medium itself as new, he may come to develop an even greater appreciation and enjoyment specifically for new media. The anticipation itself can add to its value. In the case of physical media, if most media he consumes is purely digital, then there can be a heightened sense of "tangible joy" that brings a feeling comparable to "nostalgia" from even new media. Consider if as a young teen the boy only ever had one adult magazine, which was a treasured possession. Many years later, on the internet he is every day saturated with sexy models. Therefore, such a deep "value" for any singular picture or set of pictures usually does not exist (though in some cases it can), but if he makes a rare purchase of a physical adult magazine, then that magazine can have the same sort of personal value as the adult magazine he had as a young teen. Even with JAV, even in a purely digital form, similar can happen if for whatever reason it is perceived as truly special. This type of "value" is purely subjective. For me, MIDE-949 is one such JAV because of Mia Nanasawa's appearance and this outfit she wears coinciding with a personally appreciated combination. With time this "value" only rises because of growing associations, in the context of every fap. Often when I fap to this scene, I will listen to specific idol songs with a very uplifting mood. So, for me this enhances the scene itself, and when I fap to it, the value is greater than most JAV. It is almost comparable to some of the early JAV that I fapped to, though of course without the power of nostalgia. Yet, in ten years or more, surely MIDE-949 itself will be "nostalgic" to a degree, and its personal "value" further enhanced.

Same, but I don't remember the names of most actresses I fapped to back in the day either with the exception of the big ones that I fapped a lot to. The only current young actress I fap to with as much ferocity and frequency as I fapped to Elly Akira in my teenage days is Mia Nanasawa. Her cuteness is on the same level as Yuu Asakura and Nagomi. For some reason current actresses who have only sex appeal and not cuteness are less interesting.

A few others that I fap to more than normal are Rena Aoi, Shuri Atomi and Mai Nanashima. All of them are cute, not just hot.
