Fraternite's HD remaster got hit with some heavier censorship than the original. Saeko's abortion scene is now covered in black bars and the opening CG has shadows covering all the gore, regardless of whether you have the gore option enabled or not. They also censored the lightbulb kicking scene with Shion, but that also got censored in the original game if you installed the patch. I'm really confused as to why this happened though. The website for the HD remaster uses the CG from the opening with the gore visible, and Hamashima said on Twitter that the Sofurin regulations changed by the time Maggot Baits was released, so she was wondering if the HD remaster for Fraternite could remove some of the censorship (specifically the lightbulb scene most likely). But here we are and it's done the opposite. I'm so confused.
