Trust me you'll want to level as much as possible in 1-5 before you hit 80. I leveled 4 ships to kai2 there and I greatly regretted I didn't level like 10 of them. I got Yukikaze today and leveling her requires me juggling 3 other ships while before I could just do the same with a single DD since I didn't have to deal with the opening torpedo and the SS died in one shot without ASW formation
