Their debut came at a weird time where the general global audience didn't even knew they existed and hololive outside of japan wasn't mainstream. With the boom of EN being a thing, this second gen is getting a lot more eyes on them solely because they now have the worlds eyes on them. Hell I follow a few Indo artists myself that are JUST NOW discovering that HoloID exists, and they've been watching since EN debuted.
Gen 2 will be fine, but I do worry about gen 1
