Well Love Live and Kirarin Revolution is about idols so of course Moa likes those.

She also referenced a bunch of Miyazaki movies that are more or less meant for kids like Nausicaa and Cagliostro, but still deal with heavy real-life issues like mortality.

The average powerpuff girl episode is about a supervilain whose power is to make prank phone calls and stole all the pizza or something silly and inconsequential.

But again I don't think it was malicious, it's only because there's a lack of female superheros and powerpuff girls was the closest thing they could get and that would be a relevant reference.

Moa mentioned a couple of animes & films, Nausicaa of the valley of the wind as well as Kirarin revolution. I watched Nausicaa the other day and it was by far one of the best movies I've seen in decades. Kirarin Revolution is also pretty good for a little girl's show, seemingly there's going to be some plot twists involving amnesia or something but I haven't gotten that far into the episodes and they''re not easy to find.
