I was the one who urged the rest of the wotas to start linking the threads and later start numbering them. Of course that after a while I wasn't the only one pushing those "reforms" but I can still claim to be the OP of Part1 of the famous thread chain.
And you are right, the thread watcher doesn't like any kanjis in its thread titles; when you close firefox and reopen it, all watched threads are gone. That's why it's (or was) モームス instead of モー娘。

I can't say that I know of their operation, I just made the first threads to get it running and left it to its own devices. Yes, while I'm showing off my e-penis I will also add that I started the Kids' thread chain. None of those junior idol loving rabble would make one themselves and were constantly soiling the thread so I took the matter into my own hands.

I see your stance, and I mostly share you views about the "golden age" of the threads moderated mainly via self-administration. Now, I ask you what are you trying to accomplish. Just defending the purity of the threads by disallowing the use of the thread title for the random idle chat? It's a rewardless task.
