The sin that Beato says that Battler has is obviously the fact that he is forgetting. She also wants him to acknowledge who she is and that's what this entire game is about.

Think about it. What is the one thing that Battler also can't remember properly?

He can't remember who his mother is.

Beatrice is Battler's mother.

Who else here got so pissed off and disgusted with Battler after he gives into Beatrice in the second chapter and then they do the whole her using him as furniture thing that they were sick to their stomach and wanted to quit reading? I found the whole end to chapter two disgusting.

I was especially even more pissed after the tea party where Rosa gets served her relatives since I really liked Beatrice and thought she was a cool witch instead of a sadistic bitch, but then CHEERED HOLY FUCK YES THIS IS THE BEST VN EVER WHEN BATTLER SHOWS UP AND POINTS HIS FUCKING FINGER AT BEATRICE AND TELLS HER TO STFU AND TELL HIM ANOTHER STORY.
