Please do! I love fanmade STGs and wish people played them as seriously as they do the official games.
It's honestly a bit strange to me that most games with long-running scenes usually heavily focus on user-created content (see rhythm games, randomizers and ROM hacks in speedrunning, any community that calls the official content "stock" or "base"), yet the "user-created content" in Touhou is treated as just a novelty.
